Meryus ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our fitness challenge tracking application.
When you create an account, we collect your email address for authentication purposes.
You may optionally provide a nickname, profile photo, and color preference to personalize your experience.
We collect the fitness activity logs you submit, including dates and values, to track your progress in challenges.
If you connect your Strava account, we receive your athlete name and activity records (activity type, distance, date) to automatically log your workouts.
Strava Integration: When you connect your Strava account, we use OAuth 2.0 to securely access your activity data. We receive only the information necessary to sync your workouts (activity type, distance, date, and athlete name). Your Strava credentials are never stored by us.
Strava's use of your data is governed by their own privacy policy at strava.com/legal/privacy.
Your data is stored securely in cloud infrastructure with industry-standard encryption.
Access to your personal data is restricted to your account only. In shared challenges, other participants can view your challenge progress and activity logs, but cannot modify your data.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data will be removed, though some anonymized data may be retained for analytical purposes.
